Regular Season Round 13: SISU - Herlev 71-86

Very significant was Herlev's (#2, 8-5) victory against 4th placed SISU (3-9) 86-71. Herlev made 27-of-35 charity shots (77.1 percent) during the game. They also forced 27 SISU turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Herlev especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. SISU was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Bianca Braikia (179-2003) nailed 23 points and 8 rebounds (made all of her ten free throws !!!) for the winning side and the former international forward Emilie Gudmand (177-2001) accounted for 18 points and 5 assists. Four Herlev players scored in double figures. Josefine Haabegaard (180-1999) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists and Emilie Ravn (176-2000) added 27 points respectively for SISU in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Herlev maintains second place with 8-5 record having just two points less than leader Falcon. SISU at the other side keeps the fourth position with nine games lost. Herlev will play against Aabyhoj (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. SISU will play against Amager in Kastrup and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
