Very important is a road loss of second ranked Ozel Gelisim Koleji (11-6) against fifth ranked TED Ankara (8-9) on Friday night. Visiting Ozel Gelisim Koleji was defeated by TED Ankara in a tough game in Ankara 100-104. TED Ankara players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Ozel Gelisim Koleji was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Sefa Karadol (-2003) nailed a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and Kerem Sariaslan (-2004) accounted for 24 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Five TED Ankara players scored in double figures. Dogan Bozveli (-2005) came up with 45 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and Bartu Encu (-2005) added 20 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Ozel Gelisim Koleji in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. TED Ankara maintains fifth place with 8-9 record, which they share with Turk Telekom. Ozel Gelisim Koleji at the other side dropped to the third position with six games lost. They share it with Galatasaray and Besiktas. TED Ankara will play against Buyukcekmece (#7) on the road in the next round. Ozel Gelisim Koleji will play against Fenerbahce (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
