Everything went according to plan when third ranked Wolmirstedt (11-6) defeated on the road 13th ranked Giessen Pointers (1-15) 87-79 on Sunday. Wolmirstedt made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Wolmirstedt outrebounded Giessen Pointers 42-28 including 30 on the defensive glass. Lennard Winter (195-2000) notched a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the effort and American Jordan Talbert (198-1991, college: MSSU) supported him with 14 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists.
