Worth to mention a great performance of Norwegian point guard Harald Frey (188-1997, college: Montana St.) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and American Javon Bess (198-1996, college: St.Louis) who added 14 points during the contest. Five BG Goettingen players scored in double figures. American Jaren Lewis (201-1996, college: ACU) responded with 16 points and his fellow American import guard James Batemon (185-1997, college: LMU) scored 11 points and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. BG Goettingen moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Ludwigsburg. Hakro Merlins lost third consecutive game.
