Sixteenth-ranked Braunschweig (5-15) made lots of trouble for sixth ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (11-7) on Saturday. EnBW Ludwigsburg managed to secure only one-point victory 93-92. However their fans expected much easier game. EnBW Ludwigsburg looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Jhonathan Dunn (193-1998, college: S.Nazarene) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and the other American import point guard Will Cherry (185-1991, college: Montana) who added 15 points, 6 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Kosovan-American point guard Divine Myles (180-1996, college: Stetson, agency: MSG) responded with 20 points and the former international David Kramer (198-1997, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. EnBW Ludwigsburg moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Goettingen. Loser Braunschweig keeps the sixteenth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Frankfurt. EnBW Ludwigsburg will meet bottom-ranked Bayreuth (#18) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Braunschweig will play against Seawolves and hope to secure a win.
