Regular Season Round 19: Bernau - Rhoendorf 82-75

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked SSV Lok Bernau as it allowed them to take a leadership position. SSV Lok Bernau defeated 4th placed Dragons Rhoendorf at home 82-75. It was a great evening for American-Bosnian point guard Abdulah Kameric (192-2000) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 5 rebounds. Rikus Schulte (206-2004) helped adding 13 points and 7 rebounds. SSV Lok Bernau's coach Davide Botinelli used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Swedish forward Zaba Bangala (202-2001) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and American point guard Devon Goodman (184-1997, college: Pennsylvania) scored 18 points and 7 assists. Five SSV Lok Bernau and four Dragons Rhoendorf players scored in double figures. SSV Lok Bernau (15-2) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Dragons Rhoendorf at the other side keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Itzehoe and Oberhaching. Dragons Rhoendorf will play next round against strong Sixers trying to get back on the winning streak. SSV Lok Bernau will try to continue on its current victory against ninth ranked RheinStars in Koeln.
