Important game to mention about took place in Kufstein. Thirteenth ranked Future Team (3-13) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 11th ranked Towers (4-12) 71-70 on Sunday evening. It looked good early as Towers took a 4-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Future Team had a 22-15 second period charge getting the lead and Towers were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 70-71. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward David Voetsch (199-2001) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Miro Zapf (189-2003) contributed with 19 points and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Fabio Thaler (198-1992) replied with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds and Slovenian guard Luka Bozak (185-2000) added 24 points and 4 assists in the effort for Towers. Future Team maintains thirteenth position with 3-13 record. Towers lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Flames. Future Team will play against higher ranked Alligators (#8) in Deutsch-Wagram in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Towers will play on the road against KOS in Celovec and hope to get back on the winning track.
