BBL top team - ALBA Berlin (18-1) added another victory to their record on Tuesday. This time they beat thirteenth ranked Hakro Merlins (7-12) in Crailsheim 91-85. ALBA Berlin made 27-of-33 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. ALBA Berlin outrebounded Hakro Merlins 37-19 including a 27-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. New Zealand center Yannick Wetzell (206-1996, college: SDSU) nailed 19 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side and American-Croatian Jaleen Smith (190-1994, college: UNH, agency: BeoBasket) accounted for 17 points and 8 assists.
