BSL top team - BC Vienna (20-2) added another victory to their record on Wednesday. This time they beat tenth ranked Furstenfeld Panthers (6-16) 96-91. The guests trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 42-31 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. BC Vienna dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Furstenfeld Panthers' 36. BC Vienna looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international center Jozo Rados (206-1993) notched 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and Serbian forward Stefan Savic (200-1995) supported him with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Even 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists by Norwegian power forward Andrija Blatancic (201-1995, college: St.Cloud St.) did not help to save the game for Furstenfeld Panthers. American guard Steve Jr Robinson (165-1996, college: Mt.St.Mary's) added 22 points and 8 assists for lost side. Five BC Vienna and four Furstenfeld Panthers players scored in double figures. BC Vienna have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 20-2 record. Furstenfeld Panthers lost third consecutive game.
