Undefeated leader Sf.Gheorghe delivered the seventeenth consecutive win on Saturday night. This time they crushed 6th ranked Targu Secuiesc (8-8) 87-58 in Sfantu Gheorghe. The game was mostly controlled by Sf.Gheorghe. Targu Secuiesc managed to win third quarter 23-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sf.Gheorghe dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Targu Secuiesc's 16 and made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game. Sf.Gheorghe forced 27 Targu Secuiesc turnovers and outrebounded them 47-24 including a 20-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. American center Khadijiah Cave (190-1995, college: Baylor) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Danish forward Maria Jespersen (183-1994, college: S.Florida) chipped in 23 points and 4 steals. Five Sf.Gheorghe players scored in double figures. American guard Taylor Hawks (168, college: Jacksonville) produced 17 points and 5 rebounds (made all of her eight free throws) and Serbian guard Milica Mitrovic (175-1993, college: Maine) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
