Croatian-Canadian guard Jake Babic (196-1995, college: TAMUCC) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points and 5 rebounds. Samuel Schally (198-2004) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Janosch Koegler (190-1993) replied with 21 points and Fynn Fischer (208-1999) added 15 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) in the effort for Deisenhofen. Four Speyer and five Deisenhofen players scored in double figures. Deisenhofen's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Speyer maintains sixth position with 9-9 record, which they share with Ehingen. Deisenhofen lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth place with nine games lost.
