Regular Season Round 22: Ovarense - FC Porto 71-67

The most important game in the last round took place in Ovar between second ranked FC Porto (18-4) and fifth ranked Ovarense (12-10) on Saturday night. FC Porto was defeated by Ovarense in a tough game on the road 67-71. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Isaiah Johnson (183-1993, college: Young Harris) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. The other American import guard Jordan Robertson (190-1996, college: Colgate, agency: Green Sports Management) contributed with 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Robertson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Ovarense players scored in double figures. American forward Michael Finke (208-1996, college: GCU, agency: Players Group) replied with 19 points and 5 rebounds and the former international point guard Miguel Cardoso (188-1993) added 20 points and 5 assists in the effort for FC Porto. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ovarense moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Oliveirense. FC Porto at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. They share it with Sporting.
