Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Skyliners II (10-8) won against on the road 12th ranked Ludwigsburg (4-15) 83-73 on Saturday. They outrebounded Ludwigsburg 34-22 including 25 on the defensive glass. Skyliners II looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Nolan Adekunle (200-2002) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and Felix Hecker (193-1998) who added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Point guard Edonis Paqarada (178-2003) responded with 14 points and point guard Mikey De Sousa (198-2003) scored 7 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Skyliners II moved-up to fourth place, which they share with TKS 49ers. Newly promoted Ludwigsburg keeps the twelfth position with 15 games lost. Skyliners II will meet at home Deisenhofen (#5) in the next round. Ludwigsburg will play against Speyer (#6) and hope to secure a win.
