Regular Season Round 19: Vinnitsky Zubry - Invasport 63-68

Very important is a home loss of third ranked Vinnitsky Zubry (5-7) against fifth ranked Invasport (3-8) on Sunday night. Host Vinnitsky Zubry was defeated by Invasport in a tough game in Vinnytsia 63-68. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Vinnitsky Zubry. Vinnitsky Zubry was ahead by 12 points at the halftime before a 25-6 third quarter run of Invasport. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Vinnitsky Zubry to just 6 points in third quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of center Yevgen Brechko (206-1992) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Maksym Ferenets (195-2002) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Invasport players scored in double figures. Guard Yuriy Shkondya (188-1995) answered with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Andriy Gutsaliuk (192-1996) added 17 points in the effort for Vinnitsky Zubry. Invasport moved-up to fourth place. Newly promoted Vinnitsky Zubry keeps the third position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
