Regular Season Round 20: Vihar Aytos - Rakovski 101-48

Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Rakovski (3-13) was rolled over on the road by third ranked Vihar Aytos (12-4) 101-48 on Sunday. Vihar Aytos forced 19 Rakovski turnovers and outrebounded them 69-32 including a 25-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Rakovski's players. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Konstantin Koev (196-1991) who had a double-double by scoring 31 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Stoyan Milchev (185-1995) chipped in 32 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Four Vihar Aytos players scored in double figures. Vihar Aytos' coach Decho Koeshinov felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Milen Ivanchev (190-1996) produced 6 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 blocks and forward Aleksandar Bolashikov (188-2002) added 20 points respectively for the guests. Vihar Aytos have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 12-4 record having just ten point less than leader Minyor 2015, which they share with Balkan 2. Rakovski lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the sixth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Lokomotiv Pl.. Vihar Aytos will meet league's second-placed Haskovo on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rakovski will play against 3.6.9. BC (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
