Very expected game when 6th ranked Cluj CSU (1-2) was smashed by top-ranked Rm Valcea II (4-0) in Cluj Napoca 79-60 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 79-60. Rm Valcea II forced 24 Cluj CSU turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The winners were led by American guard Lamar Hamrick (193-1998, college: Portland St., agency: Haylett Sports) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 23 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals and center Nicolae-Marian Ciuca (200-1999) supported him with 16 points and 18 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field).
