Rather expected game in Plovdiv where 7th ranked Lokomotiv Pl. (4-14) was rolled over by fifth ranked Mambas (8-10) 97-74 on Sunday. Mambas outrebounded Lokomotiv Pl. 51-32 including a 39-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. German forward Ruben Philipp Kloesgen (195-1996) stepped up and scored 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and forward Zlatomir Donchev (201-2002) chipped in 22 points. Mambas' coach Borislav Svetoslavov felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Bogomil Dichev with 21 points and 8 rebounds and forward Kaloyan Panchev (196-1994) scored 23 points. Four Lokomotiv Pl. players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Mambas maintains fifth place with 8-10 record. Lokomotiv Pl. lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the sixth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Rakovski. Mambas' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Plovdiv to the arena Akademik PL 2.
