Very expected game when Naestved was defeated on the road by Randers 83-71 on Thursday. Randers dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Naestved's 32. American guard Josh Fortune (196-1994, college: Colorado) fired a double-double by scoring 29 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American-Mali swingman Bakary Camara (201-1998, college: Bridgeport) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Fortune is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American guard Mike McGuirl (189-1998, college: Kansas St.) produced 21 points and 5 rebounds and the former international forward Mathias Christensen (204-1995) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Randers and four Naestved players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Randers will meet Bakken in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Naestved will play against Herlev and hope to secure a win.
