The winners were led by Serbian guard Brankica Hadzovic (175-1981) who scored that evening 27 points and 6 assists and American forward Trinity Baptiste (183-1998, college: Arizona) supported her with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Arad's coach Bogdan Bulj used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 22 points and 5 assists by the former international forward Boglarka Biszak (175-1999) did not help to save the game for Targu Secuiesc. American center Brianna Wilson (193-1991, college: UMass Lowell) added 10 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. Four Targu Secuiesc players scored in double figures. Arad maintains second position with 15-3 record having just three points less than leader Sf.Gheorghe. Loser Targu Secuiesc keeps the sixth place with nine games lost. Arad will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Targu Secuiesc will play against Agronomia (#9) in Bucurest and hope to secure a win.
