No shocking result in a game when second ranked Sixers (15-4) crushed on the road 11th ranked Rist Wedel (6-13) 94-71 on Saturday. Sixers dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Rist Wedel's 34. Sixers forced 20 Rist Wedel turnovers. Serbian point guard Aleksa Kovacevic (187-2002) nailed 19 points and 8 assists for the winning side and Latvian Kristaps Kilps (196-2001) accounted for 16 points and 7 rebounds. Five Sixers players scored in double figures. Center Christian Okolie (206-2000) came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and Linus Hoffmann (199-2002) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Rist Wedel in the defeat. Rist Wedel's coach Stephan Blode gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Sixers maintains second place with 15-4 record having just two points less than leader Koblenz. Rist Wedel lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with 13 games lost.
