Regular Season Round 19: Towers - Raiders 74-101

The game with biggest result difference took place in Kufstein. Local Towers (4-15) were outscored by third ranked Raiders Tirol (13-6) 101-74 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Raiders Tirol. Towers managed to win fourth quarter 24-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Raiders Tirol dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Towers' 36. Raiders Tirol forced 27 Towers turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of Croatian forward Filip Mileta (197-1996) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 9 rebounds. Czech Jiri Dedek (190-1995) helped adding 22 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Five Raiders Tirol players scored in double figures. At the losing side Croatian Karlo Lebo (196-1994) responded with 35 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds and Slovenian guard Luka Bozak (185-2000) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Raiders Tirol moved-up to second place, which they share with BBU Salzburg and Blackbirds. Towers lost their eighth game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with 15 games lost. They share it with Flames and Future Team.
