ProB top team - SSV Lok Bernau (17-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Eagles (11-9) 80-54. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Eagles. American Isiah Small (202-1998, college: Texas St.) stepped up and scored 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and Rikus Schulte (206-2004) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Emil Marshall (198-2000) with 15 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Erik Nyberg (186-1996, college: Clarendon CC) scored 7 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for SSV Lok Bernau. They maintain first place with 17-2 record, which they share with Hanau. Eagles at the other side dropped to the fourth position with nine games lost. They share it with Coburg. SSV Lok Bernau will play against Rist Wedel (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Eagles will play against RheinStars (#10) and hope to get back on the winning track.
