Everything could happen in Istanbul at the game between two tied teams. Both fourteenth ranked Yalova Vip and 13th ranked Emlak 2 had identical 6-15 record. But Emlak 2 was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Yalova 62-47 on Saturday night. Center Basak Altunbey (189-1996) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Amber Smith (180-1998, college: Missouri) chipped in 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side point guard Berfin Sertoglu (171-2004) responded with 8 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and Eda Balkan (-2004) scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Emlak 2's coach tested ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Yalova Vip (7-15) moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Urla. Newly promoted Emlak 2 dropped to the fifteenth position with 16 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
