Very predictable result when third ranked Fenerbahce (16-3) outscored on the road 11th ranked Kayseri (5-14) 110-56. Fenerbahce dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Kayseri's 28. Fenerbahce forced 38 Kayseri turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Kayseri's players. It was a very good performance for German forward Satou Sabally (193-1998, college: Oregon) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 6 rebounds. International point guard Serife Onar (167-1996) contributed with 20 points, 5 assists and 6 steals for the winners. American guard Juicy Landrum (173, college: Baylor) answered with 13 points (made all of her eight free throws) and the other American import power forward Lyndra Weaver (185-1987, college: Virginia) added 9 points in the effort for Kayseri. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Fenerbahce have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Galatasaray. Kayseri at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 14 games lost. They share it with Antalya 07. Fenerbahce will play against Nesibe (#6) in Ankara in the next round. Kayseri will play on the road against Botas A. (#4) in Adana and hopes to get back on the winning track.
