Second Stage Round 1: BAC - Vaerlose 58-69

The most shocking disappointment of round 1 was a home defeat of BAC to Vaerlose 69-58. Vaerlose forced 22 BAC turnovers. Guard Karl Formann (190-1998) stepped up and scored 23 points for the winners and guard Adam Heede-Andersen (187-1996, college: St.Cloud St.) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side guard Tobias Monsted (191-2004) responded with 13 points and forward Marcus Vinther (195-2002) scored 6 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Vaerlose are looking forward to face Holbaek on the road in the next round. BAC will play against Amager in Kastrup and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
