There was a small surprise when eleventh ranked Vagos (5-15) beat at home 9th ranked Galitos (6-14) 65-50 on Sunday. Vagos forced 20 Galitos turnovers. The winners were led by American guard Kwanza Murray (176-1996, college: Lincoln, PA) who scored that evening 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Daniela Jesus (168-1993) supported her with 10 points and 14 rebounds. Four Vagos players scored in double figures. Even 8 points and 15 rebounds by Brazilian center Barbara Bazilio (185-1991) did not help to save the game for Galitos. American guard Sydne Wiggins (180-1999, college: SMU) added 15 points for the guests. Vagos maintains eleventh position with 5-15 record. Galitos lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Natacao.
