Very expected game when 15th ranked Konyaspor (6-14) was defeated at home by second ranked Turk Telekom (17-3) 84-75 on Friday. Turk Telekom looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward Tyrique Jones (206-1997, college: Xavier, agency: Pensack Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. The other American import guard Jerian Grant (196-1992, college: Notre Dame) chipped in 8 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. American forward Jarell Eddie (201-1991, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 20 points and Nigerian-American Rasheed Sulaimon (193-1994, college: Maryland) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Turk Telekom have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Fenerbahce. Konyaspor lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Besiktas.
