Regular Season Round 18: Darussafaka - Turk Telekom 63-66

The most exciting game of round 18 in the U19 League took place in Istanbul. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of second-best Darussafaka (12-6) to sixth ranked Turk Telekom (9-9) 66-63 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Darussafaka. Turk Telekom had a 33-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Erim Lif (-2005) who scored 25 points and 9 rebounds. Baran Bas (-2005) chipped in 10 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Bugra Cal (204-2004) who recorded 13 points and 6 rebounds and Emre Akdumbek (-2003) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Turk Telekom moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Bursaspor. Darussafaka at the other side keeps the second position with six games lost.
