Rather expected game when 7th ranked Cherkasy (5-18) was smashed at home by fifth ranked Polit-Halychyna (13-11) 84-59 on Friday. The game without a history. Polit-Halychyna led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Polit-Halychyna had a 37-25 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Vladlen Berezhnyy (199-1995) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points and 16 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Mykhailo Horobchenko (185-1998, agency: BIG) accounted for 14 points and 8 assists. Four Polit-Halychyna players scored in double figures. Polit-Halychyna's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American BJ Maxwell (194-1997, college: IUPUI, agency: SLN) came up with 21 points and 7 rebounds and Nikita Ruslov (195-1996, agency: BIG) added 8 points and 4 assists respectively for Cherkasy in the defeat.
