Leader ALBA Berlin delivered the nineteenth win on Saturday night. This time they beat 10th ranked Chemnitz (10-11) 101-91. They outrebounded Chemnitz 35-20 including 23 on the defensive glass. ALBA Berlin looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American-Croatian Jaleen Smith (190-1994, college: UNH, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 18 points and 5 assists. The former international Johannes Thiemann (206-1994, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 15 points. ALBA Berlin's coach Israel Gonzalez used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
