A very close game took place in Ankara between Haremspor and Mamak. Eleventh ranked Haremspor (8-12) got a very close victory on the road over 9th ranked Mamak (10-10). Haremspor managed to escape with a 2-point win 75-73 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Mamak. They outrebounded Mamak 40-27 including a 31-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by Montenegrin center Gligorije Rakocevic (211-1995, college: Oregon St.) who scored that evening 18 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Donte Clark (194-1994, college: Texas Southern) supported him with 9 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 20 points and 9 rebounds by American Carlton Bragg Jr (208-1995, college: N.Mexico) did not help to save the game for Mamak. His fellow American import point guard Myles Mack (178-1993, college: Rutgers) added 13 points and 8 assists for the hosts. Mamak's coach Murat Dikmen tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Haremspor moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Fenerbahce 2. Loser Mamak keeps the ninth position with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
