Very expected game in Ivano-Frankivsk where 6th ranked KIVS SBK (3-8) was rolled over by top-ranked Frankivsk (18-0) 102-52 on Sunday. The game without a history. Frankivsk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding KIVS SBK to just 5 points in first quarter. Frankivsk held KIVS SBK to an opponent 24.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 45.9 percent accuracy of the winners. Frankivsk forced 27 KIVS SBK turnovers and outrebounded them 47-34 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by KIVS SBK's players. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Frankivsk have an impressive 17-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 18-0 record. Newly promoted KIVS SBK keeps the sixth place with eight games lost. Frankivsk will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. KIVS SBK will play against the league's leader Kyiv Basket (#1) and hope to secure a win.
