Rather predictable result when seventh ranked Merkezefendi (8-10) rolled over bottom-ranked Selcuklu (0-18) in Denizl 87-56 on Sunday. Merkezefendi forced 34 Selcuklu turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Selcuklu's players. It was an exceptional evening for Kelvin Livinus (-2006) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks. Ibrahim Er accounted for 18 points and 5 steals for the winning side. Four Merkezefendi players scored in double figures. Ekrem Mutlusoy (-2006) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and Mehmet Turkmen (-2005) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Selcuklu in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Merkezefendi moved-up to fifth place, which they share with TED Ankara and Antalya. Selcuklu lost their eighteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 18 games lost.
