AEL upset Angennises to take 2-0 lead in the Finals. The game without a history. AEL led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 25 Anagennises turnovers. Strangely Anagennises outrebounded AEL 37-22 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international swingman Petra Orlovic (178-1990) scored 19 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international guard Anthia Papadouri (168-1993) chipped in 17 points and 6 steals during the contest. Four AEL players scored in double figures. American guard Cassidy Mihalko (180-1995, college: CBU) responded with 27 points and 6 rebounds and naturalized Bulgarian power forward Styliana Velinova (192-2000) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. Anagennises' coach Iraklis Pittakas rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
