It was an exceptional evening for the former international forward Leonardo Carlino (198-2000) who led the winners and scored 24 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks. American point guard Chris Lykes (170-1998, college: Arkansas) accounted for 17 points for the winning side. The former international forward Marqus Marion (204-2004) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international point guard August Haas (187-1997, college: St.Edward's) added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists respectively for Herlev in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Horsens IC will meet at home Randers in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Herlev will play against Bakken (#3) in Aarhus and hope to secure a win.
