Regular Season Round 26: Mladost ZE - Zdravlje 68-84

There was an upset when higher ranked Mladost ZE (12-13) lost to fourteenth ranked Zdravlje (8-18) in Zemun 68-84 on Friday. Zdravlje looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American-Jamaican Duane Morgan (198-1993, college: Adelphi) notched 32 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard Noah Blackwell (190-1996, college: Fresno St.) supported him with 19 points and 5 assists. Even 9 points and 8 rebounds by forward Aleksa Markovic (198-2001) did not help to save the game for Mladost ZE. Forward Vuk Dobrasinovic (200-2002) added 13 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zdravlje maintains fourteenth position with 8-18 record. Mladost ZE lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Sloga KR. Zdravlje will meet at home higher ranked Vrsac (#7) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Mladost ZE will play against Cacak 94 and hope to secure a win.
