There was a small surprise when twelfth ranked Socar Petkim (8-13) defeated at home 9th ranked Acibadem (8-13) 77-69 on Saturday. Socar Petkim looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American guard Josh Perkins (191-1995, college: Gonzaga, agency: Slash Sports) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists for the winners and his fellow American import Peyton Aldridge (203-1995, college: Davidson) chipped in 23 points. The best for the losing side was French center Jerry Boutsiele (207-1992) with 18 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Jamar Smith (191-1987, college: S.Indiana, agency: Inception Sports) scored 18 points and 4 assists. Socar Petkim moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Manisa and Bahcesehir. Acibadem lost their sixth game in a row. Socar Petkim will meet higher ranked Buyukcekmece (#9) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Acibadem's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Istanbul Dacka.
