Regular Season Round 23: Coburg - Oberhaching 100-73

The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked Coburg's (13-9) home victory over 5th ranked Deisenhofen (11-11) 100-73 on Saturday. Coburg forced 21 Deisenhofen turnovers. Strangely Deisenhofen outrebounded Coburg 38-25 including 24 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Deisenhofen's players. It was a great evening for Spanish point guard Jose Carrasco (185-1994) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points, 7 assists and 5 steals. Naturalized American point guard Tyreese Blunt (192-2002) helped adding 20 points and 5 assists. Coburg's coach Jessica Miller felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bernhard Benke (208-1997) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds and Moritz Noeres (200-2000) scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. Coburg maintains fourth place with 13-9 record. Loser Deisenhofen dropped to the sixth position with 11 games lost. Coburg will meet Kangaroos (#9) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Deisenhofen will have a break next round.
