No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked 46ers (16-11) won against on the road 14th ranked Muenster (10-17) 84-74 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was Croatian point guard Karlo Miksic (193-1997) who scored 18 points and 7 assists. Serbian forward Stefan Fundic (200-1994, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international center Andreas Seiferth (209-1989) who recorded 14 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Jasper Guenther (181-1999) added 10 points and 5 assists respectively. Four 46ers and five Muenster players scored in double figures. Muenster's coach Bjoern Harmsen rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. 46ers have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Hagen and Karlsruhe PS. Newly promoted Muenster keeps the fourteenth position with 17 games lost. They share it with Jena. 46ers will meet at home Falcons (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Muenster will play against Duesseldorf and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
