Important game to mention about took place in Wels. Fifth ranked UBC St. Poelten (13-13) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 3rd ranked Raiffeisen Flyers Wels (16-10) 103-102 on Thursday evening. Raiffeisen Flyers Wels were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Iranian-German point guard Philip Jalalpoor (188-1993, college: UBC, agency: Blacktop Management) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Mike Holton Jr (186-1990, college: St.Michael's) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Lithuanian forward Arvydas Gydra (206-1989) replied with 31 points and 4 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and American forward Donovan Smith (207-1993, college: Quinnipiac) added 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) in the effort for Raiffeisen Flyers Wels.
