There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked Manisa (9-13) beat at home higher ranked Merkezefendi (10-12) 90-75 on Saturday. Bosnian-American guard John Roberson (180-1988, college: Texas Tech) notched 32 points to lead the effort and power forward Troy Sav (206-1998, agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Manisa's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 16 points and 5 assists by American guard Andrew Harrison (198-1994, college: Kentucky) did not help to save the game for Merkezefendi. Trinidad and Tobago center Johnny Hamilton (213-1994, college: UT Arlington) added 8 points and 11 rebounds for lost side. Manisa moved-up to tenth place. Loser Merkezefendi keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with Galatasaray and Buyukcekmece.
