Regular Season Round 27: Emlak 2 - Elazig Il 60-51

We should mention about the upset which took place in Istanbul, where higher ranked Elazig Il (15-12) lost to twelfth ranked Emlak 2 (9-17) in a road game 51-60 on Saturday. It was a great evening for Serbian center Milena Marjanovic (193-1991) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Berfin Sertoglu (171-2004) helped adding 19 points. Emlak 2's coach used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was point guard Oyku Taskin (172-2000) with 16 points and 5 rebounds and American center Yemiyah Morris (198-1998, college: WVU) scored 9 points and 7 rebounds. Emlak 2 have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to eleventh place. Loser Elazig Il keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost. Emlak 2 will meet higher ranked Bogazici (#9) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Elazig Il will play against Botas GA where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
