An interesting game for Turk Telekom (19-3) which played road game in Izmir against 3rd ranked Pinar Karsiyaka (16-6). First ranked Turk Telekom managed to get a 8-point victory 85-77. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Pinar Karsiyaka. Turk Telekom had a 25-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Jerian Grant (196-1992, college: Notre Dame) had a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Tony Taylor (184-1990, college: GWU) chipped in 21 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four Turk Telekom players scored in double figures. At the losing side Dominican Angel Delgado (208-1994, college: Seton Hall) responded with 20 points and 8 rebounds and Colombian swingman Braian Angola-Rodas (198-1994, college: FSU) scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Pinar Karsiyaka's coach Ufuk Sarica rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Turk Telekom have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 19-3 record. Pinar Karsiyaka at the other side keeps the third place with six games lost. They share the position with Anadolu Efes.
