There was an upset when higher ranked Kirklareli (17-10) lost at home to tenth ranked Antalya (11-16) 72-55 on Wednesday. Antalya outrebounded Kirklareli 47-34 including a 35-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by forward Ozge Karatas (174-1996) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and American forward Mikayla Cowling (188-1996, college: California, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 17 points and 5 rebounds. Even 6 points and 14 rebounds by the former international Saynur Tozlu (189-1986) did not help to save the game for Kirklareli. American guard Aliyah Mazyck (175-1996, college: USC) added 19 points for lost side. Antalya maintains tenth position with 11-16 record. Newly promoted Kirklareli keeps the fifth place with ten games lost.
