Second Stage Round 6: Bakken - Naestved 105-78

An interesting game for Bakken (21-5) which hosted in Aarhus their close opponent Naestved (21-6). Third ranked Bakken had an easy win 105-78. Bakken outrebounded Naestved 49-25 including a 37-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Naestved's players. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for forward Ryan Evans (202-1990, college: Wisconsin) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Elijah Childs (202-1999, college: Bradley) contributed with 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Guard Mike McGuirl (189-1998, college: Kansas St.) replied with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Ian DuBose (193-1999, college: Wake Forest) added 10 points and 4 assists in the effort for Naestved. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bakken have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place. Naestved at the other side keeps the third position with six games lost. Bakken are looking forward to face league's leader Randers on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Naestved will play against Herlev and is hoping to win this game.
