There was a surprise result when thirteenth ranked Kayseri (7-19) beat at home higher ranked Cankaya (9-17) 76-66 on Thursday. Kayseri made 22-of-23 free shots (95.7 percent) during the game. American power forward Lyndra Weaver (185-1987, college: Virginia) notched a double-double by scoring 32 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import guard Juicy Landrum (173, college: Baylor) supported her with 22 points and 8 assists. Even a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds by American point guard Tan White (170-1982, college: MSU) did not help to save the game for Cankaya. The former international swingman Ayse Cora (175-1993) added 19 points for the guests. Kayseri moved-up to twelfth place. Cankaya lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 17 games lost.
