Everything went according to plan in Ankara where first ranked Turk Telekom (21-3) beat 14th ranked Besiktas (8-16) 79-67 on Saturday. Turk Telekom looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward Tyrique Jones (206-1997, college: Xavier, agency: Pensack Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). International Erkan Yilmaz (192-1997) chipped in 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. American Allerik Freeman (190-1994, college: NC State) produced 21 points and 5 assists and the other American import Jordan Usher (201-1999, college: Georgia Tech) added 20 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for Turk Telekom.
