Second Stage Round 4: SumDU - Self Made 75-60

An interesting game for SumDU (3-3) which hosted in Sumy 4th ranked Self Made (0-6). Third ranked SumDU had an easy win 75-60. The game was mostly controlled by SumDU. Self Made managed to win third quarter 16-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. SumDU forced 33 Self Made turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Self Made's players. The winners were led by point guard Igor Starodub (182-1997) who scored that evening 21 points, 5 assists and 5 steals and forward Maxim Mikhailov (198-2003) supported him with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Four SumDU players scored in double figures. SumDU's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 17 points and 6 rebounds by Nikita Stetsiura did not help to save the game for Self Made. Forward Denis Konstantinovsky (193-2001) added 10 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. SumDU moved-up to second place, which they share with Politekhnik-2 and Zhytomyr. Newly promoted Self Made still closes the standings with six games lost. They share the position with Politekhn.Lviv. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
