No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Kangaroos (10-13) won against on the road 12th ranked Ludwigsburg (6-17) 79-71 on Saturday. Kangaroos dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Ludwigsburg's 34. Kangaroos forced 19 Ludwigsburg turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American Teathloach Pal (206-1997, college: Sioux Falls) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Lucas Mayer (185-1999) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds. Naturalized Cypriot Aeneas Jung (203-2002, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 9 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and Dutch Emmanuel Ugbo (201-2003) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Ludwigsburg's coach Kheeryoung Rhee tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Kangaroos moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Schwelm and Ehingen. Ludwigsburg at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the twelfth position with 17 games lost. Kangaroos will meet at home league's second-placed White Wings in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
