ProB top team - Koblenz (22-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Arvato College Wizards (7-16) in Karlsruhe 97-69. Koblenz dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Arvato College Wizards' 18 and made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. Koblenz forced 24 Arvato College Wizards turnovers and outrebounded them 46-28 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Point guard Marvin Heckel (190-1997) fired 17 points and 5 assists for the winners. Center Leo Saffer (212-2000) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four Koblenz players scored in double figures. American point guard Christian Rodriguez (180-1999, college: Cornerstone) produced 17 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and Christoph Rupp (195-1994) added 6 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Koblenz have an impressive series of thirteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 22-1 record. Arvato College Wizards lost fifth consecutive game.
